Welcome to the Lake Alhambra Estates Homeowners Association website. The residents of Lake Alhambra Estates (LAE) enjoy their location in Davis (CA) with convenient access to schools, shopping, parks, bus lines, recreational activities and protected wildlife habitats. Lake Alhambra provides a serene habitat for permanent and migratory waterfowl and the lake is stocked with trout for mosquito abatement. With its “catch and release” policy, residents can enjoy fishing along the banks.
LAE is walking or biking distance to several schools in the area. The recently completed Korematsu Elementary is just outside the entrance to LAE. While it is currently open for K-1, it will be expanded to accommodate K-6 as the enrollment grows. The other two elementary schools that serve LAE are Birch Lane and Pioneer Elementary. Harper Junior High School serves 7-9th grades and is located beyond a buffered area that parallels a greenbelt bordering the eastern edge of the LAE neighborhood. Davis Senior High School and DaVinci High serve grades 10-12 and are located ten minutes away.
Many residents are employed by the University of California, Davis, and the UC Davis Health Center in Sacramento. Easy access to the freeway reduces commuter time and those who choose to ride their bicycles enjoy scenic bicycle paths.
Do you like to golf? “Wildhorse” is a challenging, state-of-the-art golf course nestled in a neighboring development. LAE residents also enjoy the walking and jogging path which separates the golf course from the surrounding agricultural lands.
All the amenities for Lake Alhambra Estates create a comfortable environment and pleasurable experience for those who have made it their home.
